PPC Advertising Tip #1

Don’t Limp In Like a Wimp

I see a lot of PPC newbies setup a new campaign for the first time with low cost per click bids and low budgets.  This is usually a very bad idea.  Your main objective at the beginning of a new PPC campaign is TO GET THE DATA!  You need to get a decent amount of clicks, lets say 1000-2000 depending on cost, to have enough of a sample size to actually start making some optimizations.  Don’t waste time spending a smaller budget over a few weeks to still not have enough data to make any real optimizations.  Try increasing your budget and bid to get to the meat of the traffic to see if the campaign even has a chance of backing out for you.
